The book is now to make an impact. The resistance fighters have to get attention and their lives to be further investigated. The different types of their struggle must be instructions for imitation or criticism for us.
I look forward to criticism. Experience in Meldorf 1919-1945 are intended to make the follow-up projects better. A first question was whether it had to be because that I have called all the names . So far, I think only the counter-question , what speaks against it . I want to encourage more people , especially to research themselves . The more is sought, the greater is the amount of material . The experience we have made in the "Initiative stumbling blocks " , there are always more.
My follow-up projects are the same thing again in Burg/ Dithmarschen and the continuation of our brochures about Christian Heuck, Wesseburen. There, the interest in the history of National Socialism could be as great as it is in Meldorf already. Even at the risk that because of me now ha few stoves can be fueled in the municipal archives.
We need to learn especially from the past. The restaurant sale in Hemme clearly shows how careless homeowners and mayors act with the right wing parties, as if that were a game. The events in Husum on 1 May the prevention Neufeld or occasional "meetings" in Meldorf show that there is no reason to let the history be good.
